Paperbag Light [2024]

The Paperbag Light is a sculptural table lamp inspired by the familiar shape of a small paper lunch bag. What started as a simple everyday object became the base for a poetic, digitally transformed design.

The Light is 3D printed from recycled PETG and designed to be assembled without glue. Its parts connect through an interlocking mechanism, making the lamp repairable and recyclable part by part. If one element breaks, it can be replaced instead of throwing away the entire lamp.

Each Paperbag Light is produced in small quantities by studio homann, a design studio by Paul and Johannes based in Germany.
